Job Description
The Assistant Spa Manager practice exceptional customer service and make sure all staff employees are doing the same
Participate in and promote marketing activities
Communicate regularly and efficiently with the spa manager and team on all operational aspects
Assist with recruitment and interview candidates and assist with orientation, training, performance evaluation and discipline of staff.
Ensuring compliance of all policies
Work with the Spa Trainer and Head of Front Desk to ensure proper internal trainings are provided that guarantee top quality treatment and customer experience.
Closely monitor staff skills, to establish the list of training needs from internal and external trainer
Assistant Spa Manager must maintain a strict and permanent protocol of duties and responsibilities with all team members.
Participate in report of (daily/ weekly / monthly/ yearly) sales performance, monitor the sales as per the performance objectives and ensure a clear knowledge and reading
Monitor the staff rosters and performance in term of work quantity and quality so the hours of treatment are fairly spread across the therapists available.
Support Spa Manager with controlling therapist target bonus.
Monitoring the customer’s feedback.
Participate in organizing monthly employee meetings.
Communicates clearly and directly employee’s performance expectations, productivity, and accountability.
Supervise and assist in all bookings, guest welcoming and checkout, spa set up
Control payment collection and invoices paid.
Reports, inventory, feedback, suggested changes are beneficial, accurate, and timely.
Filing client consultation cards
Monitor revenue and suggest areas of improvement from Front Desk point of view
Work with Front Desk Manager to co-ordinate cancellations and waiting lists efficiently.
Liaise any marketing ideas with Spa manager to improve bottom line.
Maximize Spa Availability and Revenue
Arrange and Co-ordinate all events
Requirements:
Grade 12
CIDESCO Beauty & Spa Management Diploma or similar
At least of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Senior Spa Therapist or Assistant Spa Manager in a luxury hotel or a well-established Spa Brand.
