This organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of its full financial management and reporting function. If you hold a BCom with completed articles and bring 7+ years’ post-articles experience, this is your chance to lead with accountability and excellence.
 
You’ll:

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including GL, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Implement and maintain sound financial controls and governance.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and resource management.

? Your Professional Foundation

• BCom Accounting + Completed Articles (essential).
• 7+ years’ post-articles experience within a corporate or organisational environment.
• Exposure to NPO finance or donor funding (advantageous).
• Proven management or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Analytical thinker with integrity, accuracy, and strong leadership capability.
