Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Development Professional to join their team in Sandton, GP. In this role, your primary focus will be driving the growth of assets under management (AUM) within the asset management industry. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise and proven track record in business development to a dynamic and growth-oriented team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to raise assets under management (AUM).
- Identify and engage with prospective clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor asset management solutions to client needs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- Mid-career professional with 5-10 years of experience in business development within the asset management field.
- Proven success in raising AUM or achieving business growth targets.
- Strong understanding of the asset management industry and investment products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a team.
