Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect / Interior Designer to join a luxury restaurant group in Cape Town. This role requires a creative professional with strong technical expertise and a flair for designing high-end hospitality spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural and interior design process for new and existing restaurant projects

• Develop and present design concepts, layouts, and technical drawings

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design vision aligns with brand identity

• Oversee project execution from concept to completion, including site inspections

• Manage supplier and contractor relationships to ensure quality standards are met

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovative design solutions

• Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and company policies

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

• Proven experience in a senior architectural or interior design role, ideally within hospitality or luxury projects

• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end design work

• Excellent knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite)

• Exceptional project management and leadership skills

• Creative vision combined with technical accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
