About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is a leading urban planning and design firm dedicated to creating sustainable and vibrant communities in Cape Town. We specialize in land use planning, transportation planning, and environmental planning to support the growth and development of the city. They are seeking a talented and motivated Planner to join their team in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analyze data to support planning initiatives
- Develop planning proposals, policies, and projects
- Collaborate with internal teams, government officials, and community stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate planning projects from inception to completion
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in urban planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field
- Previous experience working in urban planning or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning software
