REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum education: a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed an internship
• Knowledge of production processes and machine capabilities
• Knowledge of tool room practices and machine capabilities
• Knowledge of drawing practices and drawing standards for tooling and gauging
• Knowledge of job costing and work study
• Computer literacy, CAD literacy and SAP
• Relevant PC skills in data acquisition, processing of statistics and presenting reports

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Timeously and effectively implement tooling, gauging equipment, and methods for new products in accordance with quality procedures/ management handbook/ SAP
• Timeously and effectively implement process improvement and changes in accordance with quality procedures/ management handbook/ SAP
• Evaluate, justify and implement improvements as regards cost saving, quality, capacity, ergonomics and safety, by interaction with toolroom, production, quality assurance, maintenance, marketing, product development and purchasing
• Process responsibilities as defined in the company’s management handbook
