· Continuously adhere to and engage in safe working practices. · Adhere to the company safety policy. · Carry out breakdown repair work on all plant and equipment, Carry out this work in a manner that promotes and adheres to food safety standards. · Carry out planned and preventative maintenance schedules as required on mechanical equipment in area of responsibility. · Perform planned shutdown work on plant and ancillary equipment. · Contribute to scope of work for planned maintenance activities. · Contribute to the investigation and completion of root cause & failure analysis on prolonged and repeated breakdowns. · Provide expert advice and guidance on problem solving techniques to fellow workers. · Adhere to companys escalation policy and procedure. · Record all maintenance data (downtime, spares, and improvement recommendations) on Shopware CMMS · Complete checklists and take appropriate follow-up measures. · Proactively identify reliability risks, and poor engineering practices, and take appropriate actions to rectify such deviations. · 3 5 years experience as a Process Fitter gained in the FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment. · Working experience on conveyors. · Experience on ovens will be an added advantage. · Knowledge of CMMS system (SAP, Pragma, etc). · Computer Literate MS Office (Word and Excel). · Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. · Knowledge of QMS, HACCP and GMPs is an advantage. Working knowledge with Pneumatics Systems
