A global HVAC leader is looking for a HVAC Sales Engineer to drive project-based sales into the consulting engineering and building services space across Cape Town and surrounds. This role is ideal for a technically strong mechanical sales professional who thrives on specification-driven business.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree – essential)
• 5+ years’ experience in HVAC / building services project sales
• Proven sales track record selling into consulting engineering firms
• Solid exposure to commercial, retail, healthcare, and large developments
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regionally

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Develop and manage relationships with consulting engineers, developers, and contractors
• Drive HVAC product specification and secure project wins
• Interpret mechanical designs, BOQs, and tender documentation
• Manage the full project sales cycle from design stage to final installation
• Support clients with technically sound HVAC solutions and system selection
• Contribute to pricing strategy, tenders, and major negotiations
