Cape Town City Centre: SACPCMP Registered Safety Officer –Tokai, Cape Town

Our client, a well-established Building Contractor, requires an experienced Safety Officer to join their team on a high-end live building site project based in Tokai, Cape Town. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain all site health & safety policies and procedures Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and project-specific safety plans Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports Promote a strong safety culture among all site staff and subcontractors Requirements: SACPCMP Registration (mandatory) Minimum 35 years experience as a Safety Officer on building projects Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and practices Excellent communication and report writing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a project team Location: Tokai, Cape Town Start Date: January 2026 Remuneration: Market-related, depending on experience
