Job Description

Summary: To carry out all setting aspects within the allocated time. Related to either a CNC mill or CNC lathe to a Pre-loaded program. This includes tooling up, and minor program changes so as to produce a first off to the required specification within the required cycle time. Thereafter safety and efficiently operate the M/C. To ensure maximum output and optimum quality of components produced. More specific details are but not limited to:

Selection of correct tooling for the job.
Reporting of any abused tooling to supervisor.
Ensure job is produced in given cycle time.
Ensure first off is inspected and marked.
Verify and ensure correct batch quantities and material specification.
Scan and complete job documentation as per the company and system requirements.
Follow all instructions on job documentation.
Verify all features and characteristics of jobs which you produce on an on-going basis.
Work to the requirements of I.S.O. 9001 and 2015 Q.M.S.
Responsible for ensuring that own machine is lubricated and maintained in accordance to company requirements.
Housekeeping.
To work in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
Proper positioning and clamping of the job in the chuck or machine table.
Responsible for company tooling and measuring equipment being used.
Ensure that defective items are correctly marked and reported and recorded immediately.
