About the Role

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Financial Planner to join our client’s team, working at a mill in the KZN Midlands region. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services to clients in the KZN Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to assess their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to develop customized financial plans.
  • Recommend investment strategies, taking into account clients’ financial goals and market conditions.
  • Implement financial plans by assisting clients with investment transactions.
  • Monitor clients’ investment portfolios and make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance to clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Financial Planner or in a similar role.
  • 3 Years Management Accounting Experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, and tax strategies.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional ethics and integrity.
  • Experience in the financial services industry in the KZN Midlands region is a plus.
