Job Description
Our client, a thriving business in the greater St Francis Bay area, is looking to employ an experienced Stock / Coldstore Administrator to their dynamic team based in Humansdorp.
Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
-
Minimum 5 years experience in seafood processing, cold storage, food production, or a similar stock administration environment.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word).

Experience using Macro systems or Warehouse Management Systems (advantageous).
-
HACCP, NRCS, or relevant food industry certification (advantageous).
-
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
-
Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Ensure the administration of stock records are up to date daily. This involves processing the internal relocation of pallets, good received and goods issues of pallets.
- Maintain accurate stock records, temperature logs, and operational documentation.
- Assist the Cold Store Manager with daily planning, staff coordination, and communication.
- Assist stock department in running monthly storage billing and adhoc tasks.
- Provide Sales department weekly stock records.
- Assist in quarterly stock takes for various stock owners.
- Prepare weekly labour and monthly operational reports.
- Support health, safety, and food compliance initiatives.
- Act as backup for the Cold Store Manager when required.

Factory Environment: Exposure to cold temperatures, prolonged standing, and strict PPE and safety requirements.

Office Environment: Standard administrative, computer-based tasks.
