Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Assist the Finance Manager with full financial management responsibilities across the business. Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses. Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and relevant regulatory requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and implement process improvements. Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors. Operational Finance Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashbook functions. Manage cost allocations, inventory valuation, and fixed asset registers. Business Partnering Collaborate closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance. Present results and insights to management and key stakeholders. Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) Essential 13 years post-article experience (preferably within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical sectors). Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax. Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. Analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
