Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Management & Configuration
    • Set up, configure, and maintain the LMS platform according to organizational requirements.
    • Manage user roles, permissions, and authentication (SSO, LDAP).
    • Ensure system security, compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and adherence to SCORM/xAPI standards.
    • Perform system maintenance activities , including back-up and restore, system synchronisations, error logs management, and system cleanup.
    • Liaise with the international LMS Support Team in the reporting and resolution of system errors
    • Archive system content not required / used to optimise system performance

  2. User Administration
    • Create User Profiles and administer users passwords
    • Create and maintain User Groups, Jobs, User Types, Audiences, and Skills
    • Create and administer Branches

  3. Content & Course Administration
    • Upload, organize, and update learning materials, courses, and assessments.
    • Create learning paths and curricula aligned with organizational goals.
    • Archive outdated content and ensure new courses are properly published.
    • Create and assign certificates

  4. User Support & Training
    • Provide technical support to learners and instructors, troubleshooting access and functionality issues.
    • Develop user guides, FAQs, and conduct training sessions for LMS users.

  5. Reporting & Analytics
    • Generate and analyze reports on course completions, learner progress, and engagement metrics.
    • Provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement of learning programs.
    • Develop specialised reports

  6. System Upgrades & Integration
    • Schedule system upgrades and/ or releases through the normal Change Control process, and liaise with Technical Team to complete technical upgrades and release upgrades.
    • Coordinate LMS updates, new feature implementations, and integrations with HRIS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
    • Test and validate system changes to ensure stability and functionality.

  7. Compliance & Governance
    • Maintain accurate training records for audits and regulatory compliance.
    • Support organizational learning strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    Relevant degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications in LMS platforms or eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI) are advantageous.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in LMS platforms (e.g., EFront)
    • Basic HTML/CSS and scripting for customization.
    • Understanding of system integration, APIs, and data security protocols.

  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Analytical mindset for reporting and troubleshooting.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

 Experience:
1-2 years in LMS administration, eLearning support, or IT systems management. Experience in corporate training environments or educational institutions is preferred.
