iLembe: BUSINESS AND DATA ANALYST (Retail Apparel)

This is not a Data Scientist role its an on-site position suited to someone who enjoys both business analysis and data analytics/BI development , and who can translate business needs into real, workable solutions. Responsibilities Include: Business Analysis Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, run workshops, and document Business Requirement Specifications Translate needs into practical, feasible solutions including software and non-software options Prepare solution design documents and participate in User Acceptance Testing Project manage solution delivery from engagement through to post-implementation support Data & BI Analysis Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity Conduct analysis using SQL, Excel , and other analytical tools to uncover insights that drive decision-making Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards (preferred BI tool) Produce clear, compelling visualisations, reports, and summaries for business stakeholders Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot system or data challenges, and maintain high data standards. Innovation & Improvement Actively look for opportunities where technology and data can streamline processes and improve ROI Bring fresh ideas to the table and contribute to continuous improvement across the business Must have Matric/Grade 12 with 3 years experience as a Business & Data Analyst, a bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar, Business Analysis certification or diploma. Strong SQL proficiency, and proven experience with Power BI is essential. Experience in BI environments and best practices. SSIS/SSRS experience (advantageous).
