In a fast growing area of Durbanville Hills this wine estate restaurant & tasting center offers elegant bistro dining during the day and sophisticated / formal evening candlelight dinners under the high vaulted ceilings of the wine cellar. ProStaffSelect are in search of a young chef who is passionate about fine dining and especially Modern Contemporary Cuisine. All menu items and plating components are produced from scratch. Guests have a choice of 3-course, 5-course or 8-course menus for dinner with or without wine pairing. This small team of 11 chefs enjoy a close working relationship and rotate from section to section. The Chef Tournant must be able to handle each section with at least 2 CDP’s assisting as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Formal Chefs Qualification from a recognised TERTIARY establishment At least 3 years’ experience within a fine dining kitchen Outgoing and confident in dealing with guests directly Highly proficient in BOTH Hot and Cold production.
