About the Role

As Financial Controller, youll lead end-to-end accounting operations and deliver timely, accurate reporting that leadership can trust. Youll drive budgeting and forecasting, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance across the business. Youll also be hands-on with cash flow and treasury, partnering with leaders to enable smart, sustainable growth.

What Youll Do

• Oversee full accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, and reporting) and produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles; track performance, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.

• Provide analysis and insights to improve profitability and efficiency.

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and coordinate external audit.

• Manage cap table requirements and partner on treasury to ensure liquidity.

• Lead and develop a junior accountant, building a high-trust, high-performance culture.

What You Bring

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; CA(SA) advantageous (not essential).

• 5+ years experience in senior finance roles with strong reporting and control orientation.

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and modern finance systems (QuickBooks exposure a plus).

• Strength in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and audit readiness.

• Clear, calm communicator who can influence, prioritise, and deliver in a fast-moving environment.

What Success Looks Like

• Month-end closed on time with clean, accurate statements and no surprises.

• Rolling 1218 month forecast maintained with variance drivers understood and acted on.

• Strong control environment evidenced by smooth audits and regulatory compliance.

• Healthy liquidity with proactive cash and working capital planning.

• A capable, engaged finance team with clear ownership and development paths.
