Job Description

Job Title : HR & Payroll Administrator Location : Bryanston Company : Air Products South Africa Job Type: Full-time Summary: The HR & Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s HR and payroll functions using Sage 300 software. This individual will work closely with the HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information, payroll, benefits, and other related tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the full cycle of payroll processing for all employees, including calculating and processing payroll, deductions, and taxes. 2. Input and maintain employee data in the Sage 300 system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. 3. Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. 4. Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and other related documentation as required. 5. Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other HR matters in a timely and professional manner. 6. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and stay up-to-date on changes and updates. 7. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts, generate financial reports, and assist with audits as needed. 8. Assist with HR administration tasks, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and record-keeping. – Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.- Previous experience working as an HR & Payroll Administrator, preferably using Sage 300 software. – Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws. – Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and payroll formulas for accurate calculations and reporting. – Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. – Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly. – Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. – Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
