Hire Resolve is currently seeking a talented and experienced E-Commerce Demand Planner to join our client. As an E-Commerce Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing customer demand, driving accurate forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels for our e-commerce platform based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer demand patterns and historical sales data to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, including Marketing, Sales, and Logistics.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as customer orders, inventory levels, and product availability.
• Optimize inventory levels to reduce out-of-stock situations and minimize excess inventory.
• Identify and address any supply chain risks or constraints that may impact demand fulfillment.
• Continuously review and adjust demand forecasts based on market trends, promotions, and product launches.
• Communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an E-Commerce Demand Planner or similar role
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain or related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in demand planning software and e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices.
• Experience with forecasting and inventory management in an e-commerce environment is preferred.\
