About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an HR Officer to join their team in Jeffreys Bay. The company operates in the wind energy industry and is a specialist mechanical and electrical engineering service provider, offering services to both private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Administer payroll, employee benefits, and compensation structures.
- Handle industrial relations matters, including dispute resolution and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and compile reports for management.
- Facilitate training and development programs for employees.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with performance management and succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an HR Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in the renewable energy, engineering, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
