We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation.
• Support the preparation of electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct tests and simulations to ensure system functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in existing systems and installations.
• Participate in the commissioning and installation of electrical equipment.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience working on MV / LV type projects relating to industrial plants. 
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools).
• Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Valid drivers license.
