Johannesburg: Technical Sales Representative – Speciality Agricultural Chemicals

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar Minimum 3 years external sales experience in the chemical sector A proven track record in B2B chemical sales Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Data-driven, with strong analytical skills for budgeting and market insights Strong self-motivation and organizational abilities Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle Comfortable with extensive travel (local and international) and client-facing technical discussions Fluency in Afrikaans and English The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing and growing an existing client base in water treatment, agrochemicals, and industrial cleaning. Securing new business through cold calling, networking, and product expansion. Conducting regular customer visits, hosting clients, and managing entertainment budgets. Providing technical product support and conducting product costing. Attending overseas supplier visits and managing international relationships. Preparing annual budgets and conducting market analysis (by product, competitor, and customer). Managing stock levels based on sales trends and future projections.
