KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Transformation Leadership Management System development Contractor Management & Integration Performance and Safety Integration Stakeholder Collaboration REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: 10 years mining operations experience, with at least 5 years in underground mining Proven track record leading operational transformation or performance improvement programmes Deep understanding of underground mining production systems, development, and support functions Experience implementing structured management routines and performance management systems Strong knowledge of mining safety systems and safety culture development Experience working with contractor/Business Partner operating models Demonstrated ability to drive change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Fit for site medical and fitness required. Highly Desirable: Experience with African mining operations, particularly copper mining Familiarity with room-and-pillar or similar underground mining methods Previous work in turnaround or ramp-up scenarios Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies Experience with Business Partner/contractor management models Qualifications: Degree in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field Mine Manager’s Certificate or equivalent senior mining qualification Safety leadership certification CONTRACT & PACKAGE DETAILS Location : Zambia Project Duration: 6 Months (Jan – Jun 2026) Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off Remuneration: All project costs covered plus per diem.
