Durban: Workshop Senior Foreman (Diesel Technician)

Purpose of the Job – Manage various workshop activities through the following areas: o Ensuring that quality standards of work are maintained o Ensuring adherence to housekeeping standards o Ensuring that fleet down time is kept to a minimum without compromising quality o Ensuring that the workshops maintain a good standard of productivity and efficiency o Ensuring that the correct equipment is available to do the work and that equipment is in good working order – Carry out small scale disciplinary measures. – Enforce and manage risk and safety programme. – Manage fleet operation. – Manage performance of staff and other small scale HR requirements. Experience with Actros and Arocs Mercedes Trucks an advantage Minimum Requirements – Relevant Trade Certificate and minimum technical N3. – 5 years experience in a similar role. – Ability to communicate in English – Computer skills at intermediate level.
