About the Role
We are seeking a polished, experienced Hotel Manager to lead our luxury hospitality property in Franschhoek Valley. As a strategic leader with strong operational oversight, people leadership, and refined guest service capability, you will be responsible for upholding high service standards, brand consistency, and property presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full hotel operations including Rooms Division, F&B, guest services and administrative control
- Uphold high service standards, brand consistency, and property presentation
- Manage budgets, procurement, stock and financial reporting
- Lead departmental heads, mentor managers, drive performance and training
- Deliver exceptional guest engagement, feedback management and service recovery
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labour and quality systems
Requirements
- Previous Hotel Manager / Senior Ops Manager experience at luxury property level
- Proven financial acumen, budgeting, cost control and strategic planning ability
- Highly competent people manager with training and leadership experience
- Strong service ethic, polished presentation and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Based in the Winelands or willing to relocate
Package
Salary: R40,000 – R44,000 DOE
50% Medical Aid contribution
3% Provident Fund
Annual increases and bonuses
Subsidised staff transport available on Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Wellington routes
Live-out role (no accommodation provided)
