Cape Town – Western Cape – South Africa
- Develop and maintain Frontend components for the Procurement Marketplace using React and TypeScript.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, functional code.
- Assist in implementing responsive layouts and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with Backend Developers to connect Frontend components to APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Help identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues.
- Learn and apply best practices in modern Frontend development, including accessibility, testing, and component reuse.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- BSc in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or similar is essential.
- 3+ Years of experience in Frontend development
- Experience with React and component-based development.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and working with JSON.
- Experience with Version Control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with accessibility and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Understanding of Agile development practices.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for clean, user-friendly design.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
