About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Fitter to join our team in East London, Zwelitsha. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of mechanical installations on equipment such as pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical installations
- Ensure efficient operation of production equipment
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Fitter
- N3 Technical Qualification and passed a recognised Trade Test
- Preferably served a Fitter apprenticeship
- Arc, Mig and Tig welding skills advantageous
- Prepared to work shifts
- Experience in the textile industry advantageous
- Pressure vessel experience advantageous
Qualifications
- Completed N3 Technical Qualification
- Passed a recognised Trade Test
