About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Solar Systems Technician to join our team at AtripleA recruitment & temps. As a key member of our energy solutions division, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing installations for solar or backup energy systems. Key Responsibilities
- Designing and overseeing installations for solar or backup energy systems.
- Ability to do electrical installations to a certified standard and sign off Certificate of compliance’s (COC).
- Oversee all troubleshooting and warranty claim issues related to solar system that have been installed.
- Work with customers to train them on the systems and to get sign offs from the customers.
- Work with installation companies and ensure they comply to the company standards and hold them to their warranty periods on all installations done.
- Provision of energy auditing equipment and create reports off the data gathered.
- Work with suppliers to troubleshoot issues and test new products in the industry
Requirements
- Matric
- Excel skills essential
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Knowledge and experience in sales
- 2+ years in knowledge of solar systems and backend applications that work with the solar systems.
- Registered with the Electrical Contracting Board of South Africa (E.C.B)), studying or working towards this is also acceptable
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Own transport
