About the Role
The Hiring House is seeking an experienced Package Manager to lead our electrical, control & instrumentation works for a mining project in Nelspruit. This role will require you to manage projects, communicate effectively, and ensure cost management while leading a team of engineers, designers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, safety, and environmental performance of the assigned work package or work packages.
- Oversee the technical development, design, procurement, and delivery of the assigned construction and supply package/s.
- Deliver the work package scope, including construction, within the expected timeframe, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify and manage project and/or work package risks while ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and procedures.
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients built on trust.
Requirements
- BSc / BTech Engineering (Electrical Engineering)
- PMP / PRINCE II certification
- 10 years of experience in design, project management, and electrical, control & instrumentation works construction management contract administration within an EPCM environment focused on mining projects.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
