About the Role

A leading engineering consultancy company is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join their Engineering team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for initiating, planning, and developing electrical designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD software. You will be involved from project kickoff through to handover, ensuring accurate documentation, drawing development, and bill of materials preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Attend internal & external kick off meetings following review of inputs
Liaise with clients
Evaluate Scope & Specifications
Clarify / develop specifications required and by making use of clarification check lists
List all project deliverables required in project plan
Make use of Eplan / Autocad Software to develop engineering drawings
Manage and control all project related documentation
Develop project deliverables as per list and sign off against QCP
Develop BOM(s) as per design and issue signed off BOM to procurement to process PO’s
Sign-off on Documentation
Client liaison & Management

Requirements

Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
EPLAN Electric P8 (essential)
AutoCAD (essential)
