About the Role
Mecad Systems is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our design and production teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, supporting engineers and designers, and ensuring all drawings meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication drawings as required.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on changes or project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Ensure all documentation follows company standards and complies with industry regulations.
- Maintain organized drawing files and version control.
