About the Role
Elchemie is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at the Mooinooi Plant in Rustenburg, North West. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems, performing routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps and related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps and related systems
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in line with company and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets while maintaining high safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Section 13 Trade Certificate (mandatory)
- Minimum 3–4 years’ post-trade experience in the electrical field
- Experience with pumps and industrial electrical systems
- Plant or mining experience is highly beneficial
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license
- References from previous employers
- Clear criminal record and medically fit
Qualifications
- Section 13 Trade Certificate (mandatory)
- Grade 12 certificate
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary: R35 000 – R40 000 CTC per month
