About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic couple to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Hluhluwe, offering an incredible opportunity to combine their passion for hospitality and conservation with a unique safari experience. As Guide and Lodge Manager Couple, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing lodge operations, and contributing to the success of our eco-lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of lodge operations
- Oversee guest services and ensure high standards of hospitality
- Provide guided tours and lead wildlife viewing activities
- Manage daily administrative tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain accurate records and perform financial tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience as Assistant Lodge Manager or similar hospitality management role
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Excellent administrative and financial awareness
- Guest-focused mindset with a hands-on approach
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote lodge environment
Qualifications
- FGASA qualification (minimum Level 1 preferred)
- Valid PDP and driver’s license
- First Aid certification
- Computer literacy (reservations systems, MS Office)
