About the Role
The Eastern Cape region is seeking a skilled Pest Control Officer to join our team at Staff Solutions. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and control of pests in various settings, while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to company standards and procedures at all times
- Complete service tickets accurately and on schedule
- Manage and scan integrated pest management systems
- Ensure site files are maintained and updated monthly
- Prepare and submit daily treatment reports to the office, ensuring proper paper flow
- Apply and implement all safety standards for pest control operations
- Perform ad hoc fumigation, blanket spraying, termite treatment, wasp removal, and related pest control activities
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in good working condition
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12
- Qualification:
- Pest Control Officer Certificate
- Container Fumigation Qualification (Required)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pest Control Operations (PCO), HACCP, and Structural Fumigation
- Proven Container Fumigation Experience (Essential)
- Other: Valid driver’s license
