About the Role

The Collections Strategy Manager will lead the strategic development of the collections function, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and portfolio performance. We are seeking a highly analytical and technical professional with extensive experience in banking or financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic development of the collections function
Analyse portfolio-level data to identify risk factors, diagnose root causes, and propose actionable solutions
Design, implement, and monitor collections models and strategies across the lifecycle
Build and review monthly collection targets, track performance, and collaborate with BI teams to ensure that dashboards and reporting are accurate and actionable

Requirements

Strong analytical and reporting skills (SQL, R, Python, AWS, and advanced Excel)
Banking or financial services experience is advantageous

Qualifications

Honours Degree in BCom (Maths, Stats, or Finance), Economics (with Econometrics), Actuarial Science, or BSc Engineering
