Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within logistics and road freight
- Build a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Engage clients to understand their commercial and operational requirements
- Prepare and present solutions aligned to pricing models and service capability
- Negotiate and close deals in line with commercial targets
- Support the onboarding of new clients and handover to operations
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports
Requirements
- 1–5 years of sales experience within logistics or road freight (depending on level)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Professional communication and relationship-building capability
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification; relevant sales or business qualifications advantageous
