About the Role
Isilumko Staffing is seeking experienced MHE Operators to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for safely moving and handling pallets, as well as providing excellent customer service and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move, stack, load, and off-load empty and full pallets.
- Complete administrative duties relating to MHE machine maintenance.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Sort pallets efficiently and accurately.
- Perform stand-in duties and assist with stock takes when required.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, Risk, and Quality standards at all times.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all SOPs and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Valid MHE drivers licence (Reach Truck).
- 13 years relevant experience, preferably in a warehouse or dry goods environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for work areas.
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts when required.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
