About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Waterberg. As the face of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and managing a team of contractors to achieve our objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily maintenance activities, including routine upkeep, repairs, and replacements
- Oversee contractor management, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Conduct site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous)
- Trade Test (Electrician, Plumber, Fitter, Millwright) Health C Safety Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA)
- 35 years experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory
- Experience in hotel/lodge, manufacturing, commercial property, or hospitality maintenance is highly preferred
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous)
