About the Role
We are seeking a mid to senior-level Facilities Manager to join a dynamic and reputable property management company. This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically skilled professional with a background in construction supervision, property maintenance, construction project management or facilities operations, who is ready to take ownership of multiple sites and lead a team to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of commercial and residential properties.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety risks.
- Manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
- Supervise cleaning, security, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in facilities, construction, or property management.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety.
- Valid Code 10 drivers license and ability to operate cranes (advantageous).
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and property management systems).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in facilities, construction, or property management.
Salary & Benefits
- R20,000 R35,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).
