About the Role
Well established brokerage are on the search for an experienced Short Term Insurance Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for an individual with both underwriting and domestic claims experience who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to grow and learn within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer domestic short-term insurance policies
- Assist with underwriting functions, including policy amendments, renewals, and cover verification
- Handle domestic claims administration from notification through to settlement
- Liaise with brokers, clients, assessors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with policy wording, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and client communication
Requirements
- Previous experience in short-term insurance administration
- Underwriting and claims exposure on domestic policies (essential)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
