About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Tshikuta Properties Investments (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company. Your expertise in bookkeeping and financial record management is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
- Recording, reconciling, and verifying all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
- Processing payments, invoices, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, statutory obligations, and company policies.
- Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure operational sustainability.
- Providing audit support by preparing and submitting required documentation.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a Property or Law Firm environment.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Demonstrated people management and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
