About the Role

Hire Resolve is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client’s team in Cape Town. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with relevant accounting experience to process invoices, manage vendor statements, and ensure timely payment of accounts payable. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Accounts Payable team.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests
Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and expenses
Review and reconcile vendor statements
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
Maintain vendor files and documentation
Assist with the preparation of financial reports
Provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Experience: Accounts Payable Assistant: 1 year (Required). International BPO: 1 year (Preferred). NetSuite/Sage 200 and other accounting software: 1 year (Required)

Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
