About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client’s team in Cape Town. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with relevant accounting experience to process invoices, manage vendor statements, and ensure timely payment of accounts payable. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Accounts Payable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and expenses
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
- Maintain vendor files and documentation
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience: Accounts Payable Assistant: 1 year (Required). International BPO: 1 year (Preferred). NetSuite/Sage 200 and other accounting software: 1 year (Required)
