About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategically minded Group Chief Financial Officer for a distinguished luxury hotel group in Kenya. This senior executive role requires a highly analytical, solutions-driven finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive multi-property hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations across the hotel group, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to support strategic business goals
  • Provide financial insight and guidance to the executive team and property leaders
  • Manage financial reporting, audits, and statutory requirements
  • Implement robust financial controls, policies and procedures across all properties
  • Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Support operational teams with cost control, revenue management and financial decision-making
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation and investment planning

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO or Group Financial Controller within the hospitality industry, ideally luxury hotels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multi-property financial teams
  • Excellent analytical, strategic and problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards and best practices
  • Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and implementing effective controls
  • Hospitality sector experience in Africa is highly advantageous

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

Salary & Benefits

Salary: USD 5,000 – USD 6,000 Negotiable
