About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategically minded Group Chief Financial Officer for a distinguished luxury hotel group in Kenya. This senior executive role requires a highly analytical, solutions-driven finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive multi-property hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations across the hotel group, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to support strategic business goals
- Provide financial insight and guidance to the executive team and property leaders
- Manage financial reporting, audits, and statutory requirements
- Implement robust financial controls, policies and procedures across all properties
- Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Support operational teams with cost control, revenue management and financial decision-making
- Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation and investment planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or Group Financial Controller within the hospitality industry, ideally luxury hotels
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multi-property financial teams
- Excellent analytical, strategic and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards and best practices
- Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and implementing effective controls
- Hospitality sector experience in Africa is highly advantageous

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
