About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Controller to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our service control centre, you will be responsible for ensuring timely response and follow-up on all breakdowns, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to company KPIs. You will also be responsible for overseeing the servicing of contract, STH, and customer PMA machines, as well as reviewing service job cards for additional repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract, STH, and customer PMA service schedules on ADP
- Contact all customers to schedule services, ensuring that the correct service is undertaken and work is carried out within manufacturer’s specification regarding machine hours or machine time limit
- Use the service app & Webb fleet to open the correct service WIP
- Schedule technicians using the service app & Webb fleet, update the service app, and ensure that the service is carried out
- Follow up with customers once the service has been completed and record their response
- Follow up with technicians once job completed for additional contract work that can be done before technician leaves customer’s site
- Obtain Contract Manager’s approval for any additional work that is within contract and instruct technician to carry out or reschedule as needed
- Collect technicians’ service reports the next day and check for additional noncontract/accident damage/or abuse work
Requirements
- Call centre training qualification or at least 1 year of call centre service admin experience
- Relevant computer skills including email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines monthly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
