About the Role
Citizens of Tanzania, Zanzibar and Kenya are invited to apply for a highly motivated and service-driven Assistant Front Office Manager position at a luxury beach resort in Zanzibar. We are seeking an energetic professional who thrives in guest-facing environments and has a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the smooth running of all front office operations, including reservations, guest service, and team supervision.
- Ensure close interaction with guests to maintain high service standards and exceed their expectations.
- Manage day-to-day front office duties, including check-in/check-out, room allocation, and guest correspondence.
- Implement effective solutions to guest feedback and improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years experience in Front Office or Guest Relations within a luxury beach resort or coastal hotel.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and train a multicultural team.
- Strong operational knowledge of front-office procedures, including reservations or property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, ResRequest, or Odis.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
