About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopping Centre Manager to join our team in Bruma, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Shopping Centre, ensuring its continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the Shopping Centre
- Marketing of vacant spaces within the Shopping Centre
- Ensure the retention and expansion of tenants
- Maintain excellent relationships with tenants and customers
- Handle commercial leasing processes, including negotiating lease terms, renewals and space optimization
- Responsible for leasing queries
- Implement and enforce compliance procedures and risk management protocols
- Monitor and manage budgets and centre expenses to ensure profitability
- Conduct routine inspections of properties and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs
- Ensure health and safety standards are met
- Lead and support centre staff and service providers
- Prepare operational reports and updates for senior management
- Address tenant concerns and operational issues promptly and effectively
- Dealing with queries from tenants, contractors and customers
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Ensure Compliance and Risk Management
Requirements
- Degree in Business Commerce or Business Administration
- 3-10 years Shopping Centre Management experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Administrative and Organizational Abilities
- Computer Literate
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
