About the Role

AVI Field Marketing is a shared services business unit within AVI, where we focus on sales and merchandising for our beverages, snacking, and cosmetic business units to provide greater focus and achieve improved execution at the store level. We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative – Retail to manage and service retail customers in the Inland West region.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and negotiate orders
Manage stock levels, returns, and promotions
Ensure accurate pricing and promotional execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and staff
Lead and guide merchandisers for effective in-store performance

Requirements

Completed Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
Experience Required: At least 3 years’ experience in a Sales Representative role required
Experience within FMCG dealing with retail customers (Spar, Makro, etc.)
Supervisory skills will be an added advantage
Sound knowledge of the FMCG industry
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel)
Valid Drivers License required

Qualifications

Completed tertiary qualification (Business/Sales/Marketing/Retail) is advantageous
