George: HR MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing all HR functions, staff wellbeing, and ensuring a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of operational experience in agriculture, strong management skills, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff contracts
• Enforce Company Disciplinary Code
• Liaise with the Labour Lawyer
• Represent the company at the CCMA
• Compile monthly wages using Sage Accounting
• Manage provident fund schemes

Requirements

• National Diploma/Degree in HR
• Previous agricultural-related experience
• At least 3 years experience in operational environment, preferably agriculture
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Previous HR experience essential
• Strong management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with and motivate a team

Qualifications

• National Diploma/Degree in HR
• Any relevant agricultural-related certifications or diplomas
