About the Role
As a Service Advisor at The Talent Room, you will be the first point of contact for customers with service enquiries and book their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You will also prepare job cards, quotations, and invoices, communicate updates between customers and the workshop, and advise on required services, parts, and follow-up work.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist with service enquiries
- Book vehicles in for service, maintenance, and repair
- Prepare job cards, quotations, and invoices
- Communicate updates between customers and the workshop
- Advise customers on required services, parts, and follow-up work
- Ensure all work is authorised and properly documented
- Perform after-service follow-ups and maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records on the dealership system
- Work closely with workshop technicians and parts department
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry (essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good understanding of motor vehicle servicing and repairs
- Computer literate and confident with dealership/workshop systems
- Able to handle a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Professional, well-presented, and organised
- Valid driver’s licence
