About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Mechanic to join our team as a Field Service specialist. With at least 5 years of experience in the earthmoving industry and a valid Red Seal trade test qualification, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance & repairs of earthmoving equipment according to OEM specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance & repairs of earthmoving equipment according to OEM specifications
- Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems and/or electrical/Electronic systems
- Assist in the repair and overhaul of other various components/assemblies on earthmoving equipment
- Complete necessary job cards, timesheets, and inspection reports including machine downloads & photos
Requirements
- Earthmoving Equipment Trade Test qualification (red seal)
- At least 5 years experience in the earthmoving industry
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Familiarity with hydraulic pumps, drive motors, hydro-static transmissions, hoses, cylinders, engines, drive trains, and basic electrics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Computer literacy would be an added advantage
Qualifications
- Earthmoving Equipment Trade Test qualification (red seal)
- At least 5 years experience in the earthmoving industry
